Yay live music!

I went to see Barenaked Ladies live in London last night, at the Hammersmith Apollo. A damn good show! Boothby Graffoe was supporting again, and he did his usual mix of silly songs and jokes, but with some clever stuff on a MIDI guitar.

We were seated, down the front of the circle, and we had a pretty good view. OK, so we were further back than if we had been standing, but it was a full view of the entire stage, nobody in the way – it was fantastic! Some good songs played, including Maybe You’re Right (one of my favourites), and a thoroughly enjoyable show. Some good banter from the band too, which is always good. On some of the UK tours they seem tired or just not particularly chatty, but this time the band was on fine form.

It was easy to get there, easy to get back, so a nice, fun evening!
